NEP-2020 came into vogue on 29th July 2020 when the Cabinet approved the Draft submitted to MHRD by the Dr. Kasturirangan Committee (NEP Draft Committee).
During the year 2025, it was 5th anniversary of NEP-2020.
Ministry of Education had organized Akhil Bharateey Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) -2025 at Bharat Mandapam! ABSS was a full day programme including signing of new MoUs with foreign universities for establishing campuses in India, books and learning resources Exhibition by NCERT and other organisations, many academic activities like symposia….
I had earlier visited Pragati Maidan many times during my 4 years stay in Delhi.
I visited Bharat Mandapam for the first time in my life… I had heard about it but this time experienced the huge spacious campus, extraordinary spaces and museums, wall paintings, beautification, many gates to enter …. It was an architectural wonder!
I got busy in attending the sessions at ABSS which were very thought provoking… related to NEP-2020 and the further developments. Next time I plan a visit to Bharat Mandapam to explore it fully … to the extent possible!
